The King Of The East, Pallaso, real name Pius Mayanja, a Ugandan artist, songwriter and producer.
The 34-year-old chose to go public on his Twitter handle with over 170K followers to ask his devoted devotees who love and consent what he does to send him money to rescue his Range Rover. He also included the mobile service numbers both MTN and Airtel.
Pallaso has confirmed that his machine was held by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA). He has confirmed in a post on Twitter that the Authority has demanded for 100 million Ugandan Shillings for his car to be free.
He wrote;
“😭I need 100 million UGX to rescue my range rover from Uganda revenue authority🙏🏿If you are my big fan❤️, if you love and appreciate what i do and wish to help me rescue my car, please send your contribution to Mtn +256 781 368 315 now. Airtel +256 704 121 571 THANK YOU❤️”

In just a short period, the singer had already started getting mobile money messages on to his phone. He posted the screenshots for mobile money deposits from the fans who had sent a little help. 5k, 2k, 3k, 30k and 50k.
